New Coeur d'Alene resident Eric Tollefson was raised in Juneau, Alaska. He spent time growing up playing football and learning music. He spent his summers with his family in Kennewick, WA and still has many ties to the area.
He started his career in wealth management in 2006 in Bend, Oregon. He assisted clients with their retirement plans and growth before eventually moving to Seattle to pursue music in 2012. Thankfully, shortly after moving to the area, he was recruited by Russell Investments to consult to financial advisors. Two years later Eric was promoted to a Regional Director and oversaw the Mountain West that included Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas.
He later joined Frontier Asset Management in 2020 to be closer to home, while partnering with financial advisors across the northwest and mountain states. His experience representing each top tier asset management firm has shaped his expertise in helping families, businesses, and trusts with efficiencies in tax managed investing, transitioning wealth, and achieving their outcomes. He’s been a featured speaker and panelist across west coast the US, and has also been published in two financial advisor publications, Seeking Alpha and Think Advisor.
He spends time writing records in his off time and has shared stages with many of his heroes he still gets to call friends. Eric is looking forward to once again living in a beautiful setting like he grew up in, enjoying a much better quality of life than a city, and being in a community where your handshake and word both matter.
